    Student Programmer with passion for Natural History

    The Natural History Museum of Denmark at the SCIENCE faculty is looking for a student programmer from 01.06.2018 or thereafter until 31.03.2019 to help with the digitization of the world’s natural history collections and open them up to researchers and decision makers everywhere. In collaboration with the DIKU, they are investigating efficient ways to digitize their insect collections. The weekly average working period is 15 hours pr week. Application deadline is 29 April 2018. » Read more

    2 Marie Curie PhD fellows in Computer Science

    DIKU is searching for two Marie Curie PhD fellows interested in pushing the boundaries of rapid biomechanics simulation for personalized clinical design with us. Position 1 seeks to investigate the use of finite element analysis for understanding of pre-arthrosis deformities and related surgeries. Position 2 seeks to investigate real-time physically- based deformable registration techniques to align these 3D geometries to intra-operative images. Application deadline 1 May 2018, 23:59 GMT +2. » Read more

    PhD fellow in Image Processing and Computational Statistics for Microscopy

    DIKU is offering a PhD scholarship in Image Processing and Computational Statistics for Microscopy commencing 1 September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The PhD student will be based at DIKU in the research group of the principal supervisor Aasa Feragen focusing on geometric and topological modelling for statistics and machine learning. The PhD student will also spend time in the Semb Lab at Danstem The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Biology, where co-supervisor Pia Nyeng is based. The aim of this PhD project is to quantify the spatial relation between beta cell development and topological transitions in the developing tubular network.
